Možda ovaj prilog treba započeti kao bajku. Nekada davno kada nije bilo interneta i mobilnih telefona, kada su i fiksni telefoni bili retkost, ljudi su korenspodirali pismima, telegramima, razglednicama i novogodišnjim čestitkama. Mlađim čitaocima ovo se sigurno čini kao bajka, ali nije u pitanju baš tako daleka prošlost.
Posebno su bile zanimljive novogodišnje razglednice – čestitke. Uoči božićnih i novogodišnjih praznika, čestitke su se kupovale na „veliko“ i slale rodbini, prijateljima i poslovnim partnerima uz najlepše želje u novoj godini. Likovni sadržaj čestitki je uglavnom bio vezan za zimske motive, decu i Deda Mraza (Božić Batu), ali je bilo i drugih sadržaja.
Opštinska narodna biblioteka Opovo poseduje lepu zbirku novogodišnjih čestitki koje su joj decenijama slali čitaoci, poslovni partneri i prijatelji. Povodom božićnih i novogodišnjih praznika deo ove zbirke je izložen u prostorijama opovačke biblioteke.

On je 1843. angažovao umetnika Džona Kalkota Horslija da dizajnira prazničnu čestitku za njegove prijatelje. Zvanično je kraljica Viktorija 1840-tih pokrenula trend koji je ubrzo prerastao u tradiciju.
Materijali su postajali bolji i vremenom su se pojavile čestitke u litografskoj tehnici, potom štampane i ostalo je istorija. Iako u opadanju zbog razvoja elektronske pošte, ovaj lep običaj ipak je opstao do danas.

Na Google Arts and Culture platformi audio-vizuelnim materijalom na atraktivan način za sada je predstavljeno sedam izložbi: Manastir Studenica, Galerija Matice Srpske, Sinagoga u Subotici, Smederevska tvrđava, Stambena palata Ferenca Rajhla, Ram tvrđava i Crkva manastira Pokajnica.
U narednom periodu Ministarstvo kulture i informisanja u partnerstvu sa Google Arts and Culture planira povećanje lokaliteta od izuzetnog značaja Republike Srbije, koji će se naći na ovoj platformi.
Google Arts and Culture predstavlja onlajn platformu putem koje javnost ima priliku da pristupi sadržaju u visokoj rezoluciji, slikama i video materijalu umetničkih dela i kulturne baštine, prikupljenih od strane institucija u oblasti kulture i saradnika širom sveta.
Projekat omogućava svakome ko ima pristup internetu da kada god poželi može da pogleda zbirke i izložbe u muzejima koje nema priliku da obiđe uživo.
