Vlada Republike Srbije usvojila je na današnjoj sednici Uredbu o utvrđivanju Programa rasporeda i korišćenja subvencija za podršku radu ugostiteljske i turističke privrede zbog poteškoća u poslovanju prouzrokovanih epidemijom bolesti COVID-19 izazvane virusom SARS-COV-2.
Imajući u vidu da turizam predstavlja izuzetno važnu granu nacionalne ekonomije i ima značajan doprinos u ukupnom bruto domaćem proizvodu, Vlada Srbije izdvojila je 1.980.000.000 dinara kao meru podrške opstanku i razvoju ove grane privrede.
Ovim sredstvima u narednih deset dana biće isplaćena još jedna minimalna zarada za zaposlene u ugostiteljstvu, hotelijerstvu, turističkim i rent-a-kar agencijama.
Na sednici je usvojena i odluka da se u naredne dve nedelje isplati jednokratna pomoć penzionerima u iznosu od po 5.000 dinara. Više od 1,7 miliona penzionera dobiće ovu pomoć od države, za šta je obezbeđeno 8,6 milijardi dinara.
Radi usaglašavanja sa merama propisanim Uredbom o merama za sprečavanje i suzbijanje zarazne bolesti Covid-19, pokrajinski sekretar za obrazovanje, propise, upravu i nacionalne manjine-nacionalne zajednice doneo je pravilnike o izmenama i dopuni školskog kalendara za osnovne i srednje škole sa sedištem na teritoriji Autonomne pokrajine Vojvodine. Ovim izmenama je planirano da se prvo polugodište završi 18. decembra, te će zimski raspust početi istovremeno za učenike u Vojvodini i ostatku Srbije.
Đaci se u školske klupe vraćaju 18. januara.
Školska godina za osmake umesto 4. juna završava se 8. juna. Učenici od prvog do sedmog razreda u školu će ići do 22. juna, a ne kako je ranijim kalendarom predviđeno 18. juna.
Za maturante gimnazija nastava se umesto 21. maja završava 25. maja, a za učenike trogodišnjih i četvorogodišnjih srednjih stručnih škola 1. juna umesto 28. maja.

Pre 12 godina na današnji dan osnovan je Moto klub „Fire Wheels“ iz Sefkerina. Mada je u pitanju klub iz malog mesta, svojim aktivnostima, humanitarnim akcijama, druženjem i domaćinskim ponašanjem, stekli su veliki ugled u Srbiji i regionu.
U više navrata bili su domaćini Skupštine Moto asocijacije Srbije, a njihov moto skup koji se održava svake godine u avgustu okuplja veliki broj zaljubljenika u motore iz zemlje i inostranstva, tako da je vremenom ova manifestacija postala jedan od najznačajnijih turističkih događaja Opštine Opovo.
